ALUMpro’s: Warm Home – Warm Heart Contest Rules
1. HOW IT WORKS:
Beginning at 12:00 AM (midnight) (ET) on December 1, 2010 through 11:59 PM (ET) on May 31, 2011 (“Promotion Period”), one Grand prize consisting of ALUMpro paying the eligible Homeowners’ utility bill(s) (to include heat and hydro only) for the remainder of the year 2011, including the month the work was complete (to a maximum payment of $2,500), will be available to be won. Original copies of the Homeowners’ monthly utility bill(s) must be provided in order to win. One Grand Prize will be awarded from the eligible entries for work completed by ALUMpro. The actual Grand prize to be awarded will be randomly determined. For each eligible entry, ALUMpro will donate $10 to Salvation Army Chatham-Kent on behalf of the Homeowner.
2. HERE’S HOW TO PLAY:
During the “Promotion Period”, Ontario Homeowners who have insulation/weatherization services completed, and the balance of the service is paid in full, will be automatically entered into the Grand Prize random drawing. The Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected on or about June 15, 2011, from among all eligible entries received, by a representative from the Salvation Army, an independent party whose random ballots drawn are final on all matters relating to this offer. Odds of winning the grand prize will depend upon the number of eligible entries received at the ALUMpro Building Products Plus Inc. location. The winner will be notified by phone and by e-mail. The Grand Prize will be awarded to the winning Homeowner the week of June 19, 2011, as follows: an initial cheque will be awarded to the winning Homeowner for the total retroactive amount of utility bills that Homeowner is eligible to have paid between the month their work was complete, that falls within the start date of the promotion (December 1, 2010 to end date May 31, 2011), and the draw date. It is the Homeowner’s responsibility to submit original copies of all retroactive utility bills (to include heat & Hydro only) in order to receive the first initial payment. Going forward it is the responsibility of the Homeowner to submit original copies of all subsequent monthly utility bills to ALUMpro, for which they will receive a monthly cheque equal to the total combined amount of their monthly utility bills (to include heat and hydro only), from the draw date until December 31, 2011. Total retroactive and ongoing monthly cheques awarded are not to exceed a prize value of $2,500.
3. ELIGIBILITY:
This promotion is open only to residents of Ontario who have insulation/weatherization work completed by ALUMpro on their personal home, who are legal age of majority at time of entry. Employees of ALUMpro Building Products Plus Inc., its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and internet agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. All provincial and local laws and regulations apply. The contest does not apply to contractors.
4. GENERAL RULES:
To be declared a winner, residents of Ontario must correctly answer an arithmetical skill-testing question and execute a Declaration and Release Form to ALUMpro Building Products Plus Inc. and its agencies and representatives from liability with respect to contests and prizes, within 10 days of attempted delivery of the same. Noncompliance within this time period or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification without further notice and an alternate winner may be selected. No substitution or transfer of prize by winner permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. In no event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded. If the Sponsor suspects that an entrant attempted to obtain additional entries by using multiple registrations, identities or any other method, all entries submitted by the entrant will be declared null and void. By accepting prize, winner agrees to hold the Sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winner’s name and/or likeness for purpose of advertising and trade without further compensation, including a winners list. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules.
